Bio/Filmography

Anja Salomonowitz who studied film in Vienna and Berlin realises political documentaries on the borders between fiction and documentation. Her films are presented at numerous film festivals and have received international recognition: "You will never understand this" was awarded the Prix Regards Neufs at the prestigious documentary film festival Visions du Réel in Nyon, "It happened just before" received the Caligari Award at the Berlinale, the Artistic Innovation Award at Mar del Plata Filmfestival as well as the New Vision Best Director Award at Alba Film Festival.
